Fund Development Committee

Description of the duties and functions of the board's Fund Development Committee

The Fund Development Committee of the board recommends fund development activities to support the long-term financial health of the Friends. Committee members work with staff and/or consultants to assess needs and opportunities and prioritize fundraising activities that best support the Friends' mission.

Potential committee members do not need specific skills and experience in fundraising; Just energy and enthusiasm for the Friends' mission.

Time Commitment: Minimal. The Fund Development committee will meet a couple of times over the year to develop recommendations.
